1. Agreement

By creating an account or accessing BLE Academy at learning.ble.training, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. BLE Academy is operated by Bedford, Louis & Ellicott, LLC.

2. Account responsibilities

You must provide accurate registration information.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
You may not share your account with others or allow others to access your seat.
Admin accounts (manager_admin, super_admin) must enable multi-factor authentication within 48 hours of account creation.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Attempt to circumvent authentication, access controls, or row-level security.
Scrape, copy, or redistribute course content without written permission.
Use the platform to send spam or harass other users.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
Use automated tools to complete courses, quizzes, or assessments.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe.
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Prorations apply when adding seats mid-cycle. Stripe handles this automatically.
No refunds are issued for partial months except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Certificates

Certificates are issued automatically upon course completion and carry a permanent verification code. Certificate records are retained indefinitely to protect the integrity of the verification system, even if your account is cancelled or deleted.

BLE Academy certificates reflect completion of BLE Training coursework. They are not academic degrees or professional licenses unless explicitly stated.

6. Content ownership

Course content on BLE Academy is owned by Bedford, Louis & Ellicott, LLC or its content partners. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-transferable license to access and complete the courses during your subscription period.

Content you upload to BLE Academy (SCORM packages, worksheets) remains your property. You grant BLE Academy a license to host and deliver it to your enrolled learners.

7. Disclaimers and limitations

The platform is provided "as is." BLE Academy makes no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. We will provide notice where practical. Upon termination, your access ends immediately, though certificates already issued remain valid and verifiable.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
