This one-day course explores eight critical employability and transferable skills that are essential for workplace success: Being a Productive Team Member, Flexibility, Problem Solving, Resourcefulness, Giving and Receiving Feedback, Self-Confidence, Creative Thinking, and Emotional Intelligence. Whether you already possess some of these skills or are starting from scratch, this course will take your understanding and application of each to a new level.

Welcome to Workplace Success: Eight Key Skills You Need Studies consistently identify a core set of skills that determine how successful you will be in the workplace. These are often called **critical employability skills**, **soft skills**, or **transferable skills**. Regardless of what they're called, they are essential for career growth and day-to-day success at work. The eight skills covered in this course are: 1. **Being a Productive Team Member** – Understanding your role and contributing effectively to a team. 2. **Flexibility** – Adapting positively to change in the workplace. 3. **Problem Solving** – Approaching challenges with structure and clarity. 4. **Resourcefulness** – Doing more with what you have. 5. **Giving and Receiving Feedback** – Communicating performance insights professionally. 6. **Self-Confidence** – Building and projecting confidence in your work and decisions. 7. **Creative Thinking** – Generating innovative ideas and solutions. 8. **Emotional Intelligence** – Understanding and managing emotions in yourself and others.
