A comprehensive introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint 365, the cloud-based presentation application included in Office 365. This course covers everything from logging in and navigating the interface to creating, editing, formatting, and delivering polished presentations. You will work with text, images, shapes, SmartArt, tables, animations, transitions, and collaboration tools.

Creating SmartArt SmartArt is PowerPoint's built-in diagram tool, designed to turn text or data into visually compelling graphics — without requiring any design expertise. What Is SmartArt? **SmartArt** graphics are pre-designed diagrams ideal for illustrating relationships, processes, hierarchies, and cycles. A common example is an organisational chart. SmartArt behaves just like other objects: you can cut, copy, paste, move, and resize it. Inserting SmartArt There are two ways to add SmartArt to a slide: 1. Click **Insert → SmartArt** and choose a diagram type from the gallery. 2. Click the **SmartArt content placeholder** icon (if the slide layout includes one). The SmartArt is inserted and the **SmartArt Tools – Design** contextual tab appears. The SmartArt Tools – Design Tab This tab contains these key groups: **Create Graphic** — modify shapes and add or remove items. The Right to Left command reverses the diagram's direction. **Layouts** — change the diagram type. **SmartArt Styles** — change the color scheme and visual style. **Reset** — restore the diagram's default formatting. **Properties** — add or modify alternative text. Adding Text to SmartArt Click a text area within the diagram, or click **SmartArt Tools – Design → Edit Text**. Your view switches to a bulleted outline — each bullet corresponds to one shape.
