Getting Started with Microsoft 365
A comprehensive introduction to Microsoft 365, Microsoft's cloud-based productivity suite. This course covers account navigation, included apps and services, file storage and collaboration with OneDrive, and administrative tasks such as managing users, groups, domains, and security compliance. Designed for both end users and administrators in business environments.

What Is OneDrive for Business? OneDrive for Business is your organization's cloud-based storage space within Microsoft 365. While it works similarly to a personal OneDrive account, it is entirely **separate** from any personal account you may have. It is managed by your organization and includes additional collaboration tools unavailable in personal OneDrive. To open OneDrive for Business, log into Microsoft 365, then click the **OneDrive tile** on your landing page or in the app launcher pane. Adding Files You can add files to OneDrive two ways: 1. **Drag and drop** — Drag a file from File Explorer or your desktop directly into the OneDrive browser window. The upload begins immediately. 2. **Upload button** — Click **Upload** and choose **Files** or **Folder**. The Open dialog box appears; select your files and click **Open**. Creating Files You can create new files without leaving OneDrive: 1. Click **New** and choose a file type (Word document, Excel workbook, PowerPoint presentation, etc.) or **Folder** 2. Enter a file name and click **Create** 3. The file opens in the appropriate **Office Online** app in a new tab 4.
